Herbert Smith Freehills Announces 17 Senior Associate Promotions Across Asia
Herbert Smith Freehills Announces 17 Senior Associate Promotions Across Asia
International Law Firm Herbert Smith Freehills, along with its Associate Firms, has promoted 17 new Senior Associates across Asia, effective July 1, 2024.
"These talented people represent the next generation of our Asia practice, doing the very best work for their clients and leading in their teams," said Asia Managing Partner Graeme Preston. "On behalf of our partnership, I congratulate each of them on their promotion, and look forward to watching their achievements in years to come."
Women comprise 59% of this year's Senior Associate promotions in Asia, and 94% of the promotees are of Asian ethnic origin.
The promotions include two Senior Associates at Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung, the firm's Associate firm in Jakarta, and one at Kewei Law Firm, the firm's joint operation Partner in Shanghai.

These promotions in Asia are part of a broader announcement by Herbert Smith Freehills, which includes a total of 150 Senior Associate promotions across Australia, the UK, EMEA, and the US.
