Géraldine Lezmi and Jean-Christophe David to join Weil, Gotshal & Manges as partners
They are expected to strengthen the firm's market-leading debtor practice and add complementary credit fund expertise
International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP has announced that Géraldine Lezmi and Jean-Christophe David are joining the firm as partners in Paris.
The duo has vast experience in advising borrowers, sponsors, investors, credit funds, and others on complex domestic and cross-border leveraged finance transactions.
The firm's banking practice is an integral part of its client offering and key to its sponsor and corporate relationships and top-tier restructuring practice
Commenting on the hires, Barry Wolf, the executive partner at the firm said, "Lezmi and David are outstanding banking lawyers and we are delighted they are joining us in Paris. Together with our internal promotions and the recent hire of our high yield partners Andy Hagan and Gilles Teerlinck in London, they will help to lead our top-of-market, multi-faceted European banking team."
