FTI Consulting Elects Oliver Williams To Head Communications Segment In Middle East
FTI Consulting Elects Oliver Williams To Head Communications Segment In Middle East
He will support regional leaders on the firm’s expansion plans across the region to serve international clients
FTI Consulting has appointed Oliver Williams as head of the strategic communications segment in the Middle East.
Commenting on his appointment, Williams stated, “The Middle East is an increasingly critical nexus for business. The sense of opportunity is palpable, and I’m excited to build on the work of our local team, as we take our business to the next level.”
A senior managing director at FTI, he joined the firm in 2008. While holding leadership positions in London and Washington, DC offices, he advised companies on cross-border communication challenges, including complex integrated advocacy campaigns, regulatory and legislative uncertainty, securing investment and building credibility through third-party stakeholder engagement.
FTI is a global business advisory firm that assists organizations in managing change, mitigating risks and resolving disputes, including financial, legal, operational, political and regulatory, reputational and transactional.
The development furthers the firm’s ongoing investment in the region, including its relocation to larger premises in Dubai and opening new offices in Abu Dhabi and Doha in 2023, and the establishment of an office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2022.
