DWF adds regulatory and compliance expert Bhavesh Dattani as Financial Services Partner in Dubai
DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has announced the appointment of seasoned lawyer Bhavesh Dattani as a new financial services partner in Dubai.
Dattani who specializes in financial services regulation and financial crime compliance has joined DWF following a three years stint with the British Arab Commercial Bank plc in London, where he was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.
A UK-qualified regulatory and compliance transactional and advisory lawyer, Dattani has over two decades of experience in multi-jurisdictional financial services legal and compliance.
Before joining the British Arab Commercial Bank, Dattani was associated with ECO Capacity Exchange Limited and JP Morgan as group general counsel and EMEA invested services compliance roles respectively.
He has held compliance and financial crime senior management responsibilities in the UK, UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Throughout his career, Bhavesh has established and developed legal, compliance and anti-financial crime programmes with a focus on emerging markets.
