DLA Piper Expands its Leadership in Southeast Asia with Waranon Vanichprapa's Appointment in Bangkok
DLA Piper Expands its Leadership in Southeast Asia with Waranon Vanichprapa's Appointment in Bangkok
DLA Piper has recently appointed Waranon Vanichprapa as the exclusive Country Managing Partner in Bangkok, as part of its efforts to bolster its presence in Southeast Asia.
Effective immediately, Vanichprapa has assumed the responsibilities of this position.
With over two decades of experience, Waranon has played a crucial role in leading financial institutions and multinational corporations through intricate financing and restructuring transactions, regulatory matters related to financing, bankruptcy, M&A, and commercial law issues.
In particular, he has been instrumental in guiding the Thailand business for the past two years, alongside Co-Country Managing Partner Timothy Tan.
“Southeast Asia is a major hub of economic growth and innovation, with Thailand being a key centre for projects and investments. With Waranon’s strong network and excellent track record, we are confident that this move will add further value to clients in the region and will help extend our Southeast Asia footprint. The team and I are very much looking forward to working with Waranon and are confident he will take the business to new heights,” Satpal Gobindpuri, DLA Piper’s Regional Managing Partner in Asia, said about the latest hire.
