DLA Piper Announces Key Leadership Changes in US Technology and Life Sciences Sectors
DLA Piper has revealed the appointments of Vicky Lee (Northern California) and Lauren Murdza (Philadelphia) as the heads of its Technology and Life Sciences Licensing and Commercial Transactions group. Concurrently, Vinny Sanchez (Los Angeles) will take the helm of its Technology Sourcing and Outsourcing group.
Vicky Lee holds a seat on the firm's Executive Committee and represents emerging growth and public companies in complex technology and commercial transactions. Her practice encompasses the design, composition, and negotiation of intricate technology, commercial and intellectual property contracts. Moreover, she guides companies through mergers and acquisitions, venture funding rounds, and other corporate transactions where technology and intellectual property hold significant value.
Lauren Murdza provides counsel to a diverse clientele encompassing life sciences, healthcare, biotech, medical device, technology firms, and educational institutions. Her expertise extends to technology-related transactions and overarching corporate affairs. Her representation spans a wide spectrum of commercial and corporate undertakings, encompassing the drafting and negotiation of licensing and developmental agreements, global collaboration and promotional accords, product acquisitions and disposals, mergers and acquisitions, as well as transactions involving the monetisation of royalties.
Vinny Sanchez, at the helm of the Technology Sourcing and Outsourcing division, offers guidance to clients engaged in the strategic delegation of pivotal business and technological functions. His expertise encompasses the orchestration of sourcing strategies and the seamless integration of ERP and other fundamental technologies. In addition, he provides strategic counsel to enterprises undergoing digital transformations, fostering the evolution of business models that harness technology and data as integral strategic assets.
