Dentons boosts its real estate practice with the appointment of Dr. Maximilian Schulte in Germany
Dentons boosts its real estate practice with the appointment of Dr. Maximilian Schulte in Germany
On January 1, 2023, Dr. Maximilian Schulte started working in the Frankfurt office. He has 15 years of expertise as a notary and real estate attorney.
Dirk-Reiner Voss, Head of the Real Estate practice in Germany asserted, "Maximilian Schulte, who has experience with real estate acquisition, sale, and financing transactions, is joining our practice, and I couldn't be happier about it. After successfully establishing our real estate teams in Düsseldorf and Munich, we are now growing our team in Frankfurt. We have developed our offering through organic growth and lateral hires over the last years. We also have built up a combined Real Estate practice across all locations in Germany and world-wide that jointly work together."
Dr. Maximilian Schulte offers clients advice on intricate real estate deals and financing. He has experience advising on portfolio transactions for residential and commercial projects.
Along with helping customers reposition properties while taking fund- specific criteria into consideration, he also offers advice on asset management and corporate law.
He most recently assisted a project developer with the purchase of a 10 hectare former industrial and commercial site in Berlin for extensive revitalization and redevelopment as well as an international investment manager with the repositioning and subsequent sale of a commercial and residential neighborhood in Cologne.
He worked at Noerr and Freshfields before leaving HFK Rechtsanwälte to join Dentons.
Dr. Maximilian Schulte offered the following insight into his decision: "Dentons' Real Estate practice has developed in a very dynamic manner recently. I'm thrilled to be able to use my transactional knowledge in this international setting while also offering notarial services in Frankfurt."
"Maximilian Schulte's hiring strengthens our real estate transaction business while also giving our clients access to notarial services in Frankfurt," according to Andreas Ziegenhagen, managing partner for Germany. "I'm thrilled to welcome him to our alliance."
The German Real Estate team in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Munich, and Frankfurt now comprises 32 attorneys, including 11 partners, thanks to this hire. Around the world, Dentons has more than 1,500 real estate attorneys working in an integrated practice across all locations, with 450 of those attorneys located in Europe
