David Hamilton becomes litigation partner at DLA Piper
David Hamilton becomes litigation partner at DLA Piper
He has dealt with a number of antitrust and business competition cases for domestic and multinational companies
DLA Piper has welcomed David Hamilton, the Baltimore-based partner to the firm's litigation practice.
Hamilton is an experienced antitrust and business litigator and serves as a strategic advisor to businesses and government and community enterprises. He has tried numerous antitrust and business competition cases for domestic and multinational companies in sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, consumer products, and financial and advisory services.
Commenting on his appointment, Ilana Eisenstein, the US chair of the firm's litigation practice said, "In light of vigorous executive enforcement, one of the firm's strategic priorities is the growth of our antitrust litigation practice. Hamilton's extensive antitrust and patent litigation experience will serve a wide variety of clients across DLA Piper's global platform."
Brett Ingerman, the managing partner of the Baltimore office remarked, "Thrilled to welcome Hamilton to the Baltimore office, we are committed to supporting his efforts in expanding the breadth and depth of our antitrust litigation practice across sectors and geographies."
Hamilton's experience includes representing a publicly traded paperboard company in antitrust and patent litigation; defending a national healthcare system against alleged antitrust violations arising from contracting practices; and representing a publicly-traded international chemical company in defense of international cartel price-fixing allegations.
