Clyde & Co adds Elias Matni as a Partner in Doha
He was previously serving at K&L Gates
Global law firm Clyde & Co has announced the hiring of corporate lawyer Elias Matni as a Partner in its Global Corporate and Advisory Practice in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) regions.
Matni is a well-regarded lawyer with over 15 years of experience advising local and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets, corporate restructuring, and corporate governance matters.
With a vast understanding of the Qatari market, he advises several institutional, government, semi-government bodies, and private sector clients.
Naji Hawayek, the Partner and Head of Clyde & Co’s Corporate Practice in the Middle East, commented, “We are delighted to have Matni on board. With over 30 years of experience in the Middle East, Clyde & Co is the largest international law firm in the region, with 59 partners operating through four offices. The firm’s Doha office, operating for 15 years, is recognized as one of the leading in advising local and international companies in Qatar.
Matni has previously worked with Simmons & Simmons for over nine years. Until recently, he was serving at K&L Gates in Doha.
