Christopher & Lee Ong Appoints Team to Strengthen its Corporate Practice
Christopher & Lee Ong Appoints Team to Strengthen its Corporate Practice
Christopher & Lee Ong (CLO), a Malaysian member firm of Rajah & Tann Asia, strengthens its corporate practice with the appointment of five new partners: Adrian Chee, Jennifer Lee, Justin Chua, Jacyn Phuah, and Adrian Yap. This dynamic team brings extensive expertise in M&A, capital markets, and banking & finance, poised to propel CLO to new heights in the corporate arena.
With their dedicated teams in tow, these new partners amplify CLO's reach across various sectors, paving the way for further expansion and solidifying CLO as a market leader.
Adrian Chee takes the reins of CLO's corporate M&A alongside Jacyn Phuah, forming a formidable duo. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lee and Adrian Yap bring their banking and finance prowess, covering both conventional and Islamic markets, bolstering the firm's expertise in this growing domain. Equity capital market specialist Justin Chua joins Yon See Ting and Annette Soh at the helm of the thriving practice group, further consolidating CLO's dominance in this arena.
According to Chee, his decision to join CLO was driven by the firm's established reputation as a full-service provider, its commitment to innovation and collaboration, and its membership in the Rajah & Tann Asia network, which would grant his clients access to a wider range of best-in-class legal services throughout the region.
CLO Managing partner Kuok Yew Chen said: “Their reputation in the market precedes them and having worked with them across the table in the past few years, we are certain of the synergies they bring to the culture and future of CLO and Rajah & Tann Asia.”
