Broadridge Financial Solutions Appoints Hope Jarkowski As Chief Legal Officer
She fills the position of Keir Gumbs, who left the firm in November.
US-listed fintech company Broadridge Financial Solutions has added Hope Jarkowski as the Chief Legal Officer.
She will oversee its legal, compliance, regulatory and government affairs functions and serve as the primary legal advisor to the senior management and lead its internal policy efforts. Jarkowski will also serve on the company’s foundation board, risk committee and environmental, social and governance committee.
Tim Gokey, the CEO at Broadridge commented, “Jarkowski is an established leader with expertise in securities regulation, corporate governance and regulatory affairs. She is perfect to lead our legal and regulatory functions as we execute our go-forward strategy. Her experience and leadership will bring meaningful impact to the firm and our industry.”
Jarkowski was previously working at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). For a year, she was head of the equities at the exchange and later the General Counsel.
Before that, she spent almost five years as Co-Head of government affairs at NYSE’s parent company Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), with earlier stints as a partner at Delta Strategy Group, a Senior Counsel on the US Senate’s committee on banking, housing and urban affairs and counsel to then US Securities and Exchange Commission’s commissioner Troy Paredes. She also spent six years in private practice at Bingham McCutchen, having started her career as an attorney at the US financial regulator FINRA.
New York-based Broadridge Financial Solutions provides technology and data services to the financial industry, including asset managers, banks and insurance companies.
