Assegaf Hamzah & Partners Adds Alan Frederik As Of Counsel To Boost Oil & Gas Medium
He has over 35 years of experience in the sector as a legal counsel and strategic advisor
To expand its oil and gas practice, Indonesia’s Assegaf Hamzah & Partners has added Alan Frederik as Of Counsel.
He has served as Chief Legal Counsel of Arco, Tangguh LNG, BPMIGAS (Indonesian government’s upstream oil & gas management agency, now replaced by SKK Migas), and Pertamina Persero (the Indonesian oil and gas SOE). He continues to advise Pertamina and PLN on multiple key energy transition projects.
Commenting on his addition, Ibrahim Sjarief Assegaf, the firm’s managing partner said, “We are thrilled to welcome Alan Frederik to our team. Frederik holds a law degree from the University of Indonesia and an LLM from Dedman School of Law Southern Methodist University, Dallas.
