Ahmed Butt Joins Dentons’ Banking & Finance Practice As Partner In The Middle East
Dentons has announced the appointment of Ahmed Butt as a partner in its Middle East Banking & Finance practice, strengthening its regional capabilities with his extensive expertise in banking regulations and financial institutions regulatory matters. With over 20 years of experience, Ahmed’s arrival addresses the growing demand for regulatory expertise in the region.
Ahmed, formerly EY’s MENA Financial Services Law Leader, is highly regarded in the financial services sector. His specializations include regulatory matters such as new market entry licensing applications, innovative product regulatory analysis, cross-border promotion, and regulatory investigations. He also has significant experience in legislative enhancement projects and transactional banking expertise, spanning both conventional and Islamic finance.
