Freshfields Elevates Walid Salib in Saudi Arabia to Counsel in Latest Promotion Round
As part of its latest promotion round, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, the global law firm, has elevated senior associate Walid Salib to the position of counsel, along with 44 other new counsels from various practice groups and regions.
These attorneys are selected from Freshfields' extensive talent pool and showcase the firm's global proficiency. Their contribution will be vital in advancing Freshfields' expansion objectives, as well as its strategies for clients and personnel.

Walid Salib is based in Riyadh and leads Freshfields’ M&A and global transactions practice in Saudi Arabia. He has extensive experience in advising private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, family offices/holdings, and multinational corporations on M&A deals and strategic joint ventures.
Salib is fluent in both Arabic and English and has been seconded to one of the international banks in Saudi Arabia as well as Freshfields’ London office for extended periods.
