Debevoise Partner Jennifer Chu Named Chief Legal Officer And General Counsel Of TPG

Ms. Chu is Deputy Co-Chair of the M&A Group and member of the firm’s Private Equity Group and Healthcare & Life Sciences Group

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has announced that its Partner Jennifer Chu has been named Partner, Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of TPG Inc. (NASDAQ: TPG), with effect from March 31.

Peter Furci, Presiding Partner, reportedly said, “Over her 19 years at Debevoise, Jen has served as an exceptional advisor to our clients, an outstanding colleague and mentor, and a friend to many.
