White & Case Represents Banks On CCC’s Offer Of New Shares
The shoe store company plans to allocate the funds to pay the cash portion of the buyout of Modivo's minority shareholders
International law firm White & Case LLP has advised a banking syndicate on CCC S.A.'s offer of new series N ordinary bearer shares in an accelerated book-building (ABB) process valued at more than PLN 1.55 billion.
Through a private subscription, the offer included the issuance of 8,157,894 million shares at an issue price of PLN 190 per share.
Polish and foreign investors participated in the offer, wherein the shares were sold to chosen qualified investors and those acquiring securities with at least €100,000 in Poland. It was pursuant to certain exemptions from the obligation to prepare a prospectus and outside the US under Regulation S of the amended US Securities Act, 1933.
CCC plans to allocate the funds to pay the cash portion of the buyout of Modivo's minority shareholders.
It is one of Europe's largest footwear and clothing retailers. Operating across 30 markets, it has 1,000 offline stores and an e-commerce presence operating under several brands, including CCC, HalfPrice, eobuwie.pl, Modivo, Worldbox and Boardriders.
The company is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2004.
