White & Case Advised Asker On SEK 26.8 Billion Nasdaq Stockholm IPO
The IPO price was fixed at SEK 70 per share
Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Nalka and its portfolio company Asker Healthcare Group AB on SEK 26.8 billion initial public offering (IPO) and listing on Nasdaq Stockholm.
Johan Thiman, the partner at White & Case, who co-led the firm's deal team, stated, "The transaction highlights the continued strength of the Nordic capital markets in high profile listings and the enduring confidence from investors in the region.”
He added, "White & Case offers clients a platform in the Nordic region that combines local expertise with US capabilities in a manner that we believe is unique. This IPO marks a significant step in Asker's sustained evolution and reinforces its position as a leading player in the European healthcare sector."
White & Case advised on the deal's capital markets, debt finance and private equity aspects.
Johan Steen, another partner, co-leading the firm's team, expressed, "We have built strong relationships with Asker and Nalka. This listing is an important milestone in our partnership with these important clients. It demonstrates the depth of our cross-practice offering and ability to support clients through transformational transactions."
Established in 2009, Nalka invests in small and medium-sized businesses in the Nordic and DACH regions.
Asker is a Sweden-headquartered leading provider of medical products and solutions in Europe. It operates in 17 countries with 45 group companies and comprises 4,000 employees.
The White & Case team was led by Partners Johan Thiman and Johan Steen (Stockholm) and Mikko Hulkko (Helsinki).
