Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy Advised B.TECH On EGP 1.56 Billion Securitization Transaction
B.TECH for Trade and Distribution S.A.E. has successfully completed a securitization transaction worth EGP 1,560,500,000. This marks the second issuance under Capital’s Eighth Securitization Program, which has a total program value of EGP 5 billion.
Legal counsel for B.TECH was provided by Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy (MBH). The advisory team was led by Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Partner and Head of Capital Markets, along with Partner Imane Raouf, Senior Associate Esraa Mohamed, and Associate Abdelrheem Ashraf.
Key stakeholders in the transaction included Commercial International Bank, Egypt S.A.E. (CIB Egypt) as the financial advisor and Egyptian Gulf Bank (EGBANK) as the custodian. Russel Bedford acted as the auditor, while Capital Securitization Company served as the securitization company. The credit rating for the transaction was provided by Middle East Rating & Investors Service (MERIS).
