Linklaters represented EIC Fund on its equity investment in Siléane
Linklaters advised European Innovation Council Fund (EIC Fund) on its equity investment in Siléane, a leading player in the robotics market specialising in the design, manufacture, and maintenance of special machines combining robotics, vision, and artificial intelligence technologies.
The investment was made as part of a pool of investors led by the France Nuclear Fund, managed by Siparex, to support the growth of Siléane.
Established in June 2020, the EIC Fund is a breakthrough initiative of the European Commission to make direct equity and quasi-equity investments (between €500,000 and €15 million) in European high-impact and deep-tech start-ups and scale-ups.
Since its creation, Linklaters has advised EIC Fund on more than 20 investments in European startups, including CorWave, Aledia, Sileane, Xenothera, Antofénol, Novolyze, XSun, Rosi, Minuendo, Hiber, EpiEndo Pharmaceuticals, NIL Technology, Trisol Medical et Kahun Medical.
The Linklaters team in Paris was led by Corporate M&A counsel Mehdi Boumedine and Energy and Infrastructure associate Abdullah Konate.
