Latham & Watkins, Freshfields Advised On $1.3 Billion Investment In ST Telemedia Global Data Centres
Latham & Watkins and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer have played integral roles in a SGD1.75 billion (USD1.3 billion) investment led by KKR into ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC), marking Southeast Asia's largest digital infrastructure investment this year.
STT GDC, headquartered in Singapore, is a rapidly expanding data centre provider with 95 facilities across 11 countries, specializing in high-quality colocation connectivity. Singtel, Singapore’s foremost fixed-line and major mobile network operator, joins KKR in this transformative investment endeavor.
Sharon Lau, a Partner based in Singapore, led Latham & Watkins’ legal team in advising ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC).
Meanwhile, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer provided Counsel to the Global Investment Firm KKR, representing its Asia-Pacific Infrastructure Investors II Fund, alongside Singtel. Nigel Gleeson and Simon Weller, Partners in Singapore, led Freshfields' advisory efforts in this significant transaction.
