Hogan Lovells Represented Equitix on Decarbonisation Portfolio Deal
Hogan Lovells Represented Equitix on Decarbonisation Portfolio Deal
With Frankfurt-based partner Dr. Torsten Rosenboom at the helm, global legal powerhouse Hogan Lovells guided Equitix through the acquisition of a majority stake in Enpal B.V.'s residential home decarbonisation portfolio.
The transaction includes grid-connected photovoltaic panels, battery storage systems, and EV charging points installed in 60,000 residential units across Germany, with an aggregated maximum output of 550 MWp.
Equitix partnered with Keppel Infrastructure Trust to secure a 90 per cent ownership stake in a €1.6 billion clean energy portfolio.
Equitix, a global leader in infrastructure investment, has further solidified its commitment to clean energy and a net-zero future with this significant acquisition. This strategic move not only strengthens Equitix's growing renewable energy portfolio in Europe but also signifies its unwavering dedication to driving the transition towards a more sustainable future.
“We are proud to have pioneered together with Equitix and advised on the first investment of this scale in the residential home decarbonisation sector in Europe,” lead partner Dr Torsten Rosenboom, who, along with his team, provided legal advice on all aspects of the acquisition, said.
