Helmy, Hamza & Partners Advised AMEA Power On Landmark Wind Project In Gulf Of Suez
Helmy, Hamza & Partners, Baker McKenzie's Cairo office, has successfully advised AMEA Power, one of the region's fastest-growing renewable energy companies, on a landmark 500 MW wind project in the Gulf of Suez. With an estimated investment of US$ 600 million, this project marks a significant milestone in Egypt's commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions.
The agreements were signed during the inauguration of the Abydos 1 solar power plant in Aswan, a project that AMEA Power was supported on two years ago. By harnessing wind energy, the project promotes environmental sustainability and directly addresses Egypt’s energy challenges.
