Freshfields Advised Apera for Acquisition of DMS Group Companies
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised funds managed by its long-standing client Apera Asset Management on debt financing for the acquisition of shares in certain DMS Group companies by funds managed by Avedon. The majority of shares were sold by a private individual.
DMS Group is a leading independent Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider for the energy sector in Germany, offering a wide range of services to network and meter operators, as well as energy distributors. With eight locations and over 800 employees, the company handles energy management processes for its diverse customer base and provides support with automation solutions, process and system consulting, and training.
Apera Asset Management is a private capital solutions provider to mid-market companies in the DACH, UK, Nordics, France, and Benelux. With over €2.6 billion in assets under management and 60 investments made, Apera is a leading player in the European private equity landscape.
