Debevoise & Plimpton Advised CD&R On Mubadala And Bpifrance Investment In SOCOTEC
Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has advised Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), an existing minority shareholder in SOCOTEC, on the acquisition of a minority stake in SOCOTEC by Mubadala Investment Company and Bpifrance.
Mubadala Investment Company, a global sovereign investor based in Abu Dhabi, and Bpifrance, the French Public Investment Bank, are jointly acquiring a minority stake in SOCOTEC as part of SOCOTEC's Ambitions 2028 plan.
France-based SOCOTEC is the leading independent third-party provider of sustainability services for buildings and infrastructure. The company operates in 26 countries, with seven major platforms in Europe and the USA.
The Debevoise team advising SOCOTEC was led by Partner E. Raman Bet-Mansour and International Counsel Philippe Tengelmann, with tax advice provided by partner Matthew Saronson.
