Clifford Chance Advised BUKO on its acquisition of Road Traffic Solutions Limited
The purchase marks the company’s first step outside the Netherlands
Clifford Chance has advised Equistone portfolio company BUKO Traffic & Safety on acquiring a majority stake in Road Traffic Solutions Limited, a UK-based temporary traffic and event management solutions specialist.
BUKO is a leading provider of outsourced traffic and safety management solutions, headquartered in Barendrecht, the Netherlands.
The acquisition marks BUKO’s first step outside the Netherlands and represents a targeted expansion into a new high-growth market. The company employs about 400 people and annually oversees several thousand projects.
The Clifford Chance team was led by partner Jeroen Thijssen.
The Amsterdam team included Ruben van Diepen, Bruno Weisser Lopez, Martijn van Beusekom, Hannah van Dijk, Michiel Sunderman, Stern Flik, Alec Sanderson, Tjerk de Jonge and Ceren Akgöl.
The London team comprised Matthew Scully, Georgia Mitchell, Francesca Baker, Emma Mack, Florence Wong, David Baxter, David Saleh, Victoria Parkhomenko and Daniel Ng.
