Alveo counselled by Pinsent Masons on its sale to Symphony Technology Group
Alveo counselled by Pinsent Masons on its sale to Symphony Technology Group
Pinsent Masons has advised the shareholders of Alveo, including funds managed by Sovereign Capital Partners (SCP), on its sale to Symphony Technology Group (STG).
With customers in 18 different countries and operations in London, the Netherlands, Singapore and New York, Alveo is a major cloud-based data management, analytics, and Data-as-a-Service provider to the financial services sector.
Private Equity Partner Tom Leman led the transaction and was assisted by Joshua Willis, Senior Associate.
"We have a long- standing connection with SCP, having advised the team when it made its initial investment in Alveo in 2018," Tom Leman stated in response to the purchase. We continue to collaborate with aspirational and creative market participants like SCP, and we wish the Alveo management team well in their collaboration with STG.
"The team at Pinsent Masons worked closely with us throughout the process and have offered fantastic assistance and forward- thinking counsel to ensure the final solution was one that worked for all parties," said Alex Hay, a partner at Sovereign Capital Partners.
