Akin Acted on Tandym Group’s acquisition of Kolter Solutions
The deal will strengthen its presence in the Florida market
International law firm, Akin has advised Tandym Group, in its acquisition of Kolter Solutions, a technology staffing company specializing in healthcare IT.
Tandym is a national consulting, recruitment, and workforce solutions company. It is backed by Mill Rock Capital, a growth and operations-oriented private investment firm that invests in well-positioned businesses in North America, and ICG, a global alternative asset manager.
Based in Maitland, Florida, Kolter is a recruiting and staff augmentation firm, additionally focusing on professional IT, engineering, and digital/creative placements. The expertise, relationships, and goodwill developed by it over its 14 years of operations will strengthen the existing presence of Tandym in the Florida market.
The Akin team was led by private equity partners Amy Wollensack and Michelle Chan. It included counsel Kristen Lin, associate Jordan Adams, finance partner Andrew Sagor, and counsel Lech Wilkiewicz.
