Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie advised Baobab Group S.A.S on its acquisition of uMunthu Investment Development Company Limited’s 19.9% equity interest in Baobab Microfinance Bank Limited.
This strategic transaction is expected to enhance Baobab’s capacity to deliver greater value to its customers while furthering its mission to expand financial inclusion across Nigeria. The acquisition also underscores Baobab’s growing influence in the financial sector and its continued focus on sustainability, social responsibility, and positive environmental impact.
