Orissa High Court Designates Five Advocates as ‘Senior Advocates’
Orissa High Court Designates Five Advocates as ‘Senior Advocates’
The Orissa High Court in exercise of its powers conferred under Section 16 of the Advocates Act, 1961 read with Rule 7(1) of the High Court of Orissa (Designation of Senior Advocate) Rules, 2019 has conferred the designations of ‘Senior Advocate’ on the following five lawyers, including one woman lawyer.
The notification issued by the Orissa High Court notifies that “In exercise of its powers conferred under Section 16 of the Advocates Act, 1961 read with Rule 7(1) of the High Court of Orissa (Designation of Senior Advocate) Rules, 2019 and pursuant to Advertisement No. 01/2023, Hon’ble Chief Justice has been pleased to designate the following Advocates as Senior Advocates.”
The names of the advocates are as follows:
1. Shri Sunkuru Sudhakar Rao
2. Shri Rudra Prasad Kar
3. Shri Samir Kumar Mishra
4. Shri Prafulla Kumar Rath
5. Mrs. Pami Rath
