Eleven years ago, Legal Era instituted the Legal Era Awards to recognize legal finesse, innovation, and accomplishments of Legal Practitioners, In-House Teams, and Law Firms. However, what started in 2011 as an Awards Event steadily gained momentum and garnered much love, respect, and excitement from the legal fraternity, so much so that today we all know that Legal Era Awards are a professional game changer for the awardees! A formidable badge of pride and honour in the industry for every awardee, the awards have gathered an international flavour transcending geographical borders and recognizing outcomes over cross-border and cross-functional matters and roles.
Twelve years and eleven editions later - the Indian Legal Awards have grown from strength to strength. The 11th Edition last year was most special as after two years of virtual awards, the Legal Era Community and awardees gathered under one roof amid the spectacular environs of Hotel Shangri La, New Delhi. The Gala Evening saw the most inspirational acceptance speeches as the honourable stalwarts and speakers shook hands with the awardees, gave a pat on the back, presented the gorgeous trophies, clinked glasses, savoured dinner, and enjoyed ample photo ops. The event was also live telecast on Legal Era’s YouTube Channel.
With this backdrop fuelled by a deep sense of accomplishment, a burning need to recognize the best in the legal industry, and the celebration of camaraderie within the Legal Era Community, Legal Era invites submissions to the 12th Edition of the Annual Legal Era Awards 2022-23 that promises to be no less phenomenal! To be held in March 2023 the last date for sending in your entries is 8th February 2023
The Awards are categorized as Law Firms, In-House, Individual, International, and Premier League. They span practice areas both old and new. The selection criteria include service types and ranges, business types and operations, and individual/team expertise. Some ground-breaking titles include Lifetime Achievement, Legal Icon of the Year, Star General Counsel of the Year (Male and Female), and Star Young Achiever (Law Firm and In-House).
Each Legal Era trophy signifies a journey of navigating through 2022-23, leading teams with agility, innovation, and international best practices, and servicing clients with transformative solutions. Merit alone decides the winners selected by an independent jury comprising distinguished names in the business. The applications go through layers of exhaustive research and industry reviews to ensure that the selection and scoring processes are thorough. The jury will consider the unique challenges and opportunities of 2022-23.
