Sree Patel is the Executive Director at Mondelez India and Vice President & Chief Counsel at Mondelēz Asia Pacific Middle East Africa. She possesses extensive cross-functional expertise in business strategy and advisory, corporate law, closure of establishments, compliance under FCPA & UK Anti Bribery Act, indirect tax, licensing, real estate monetisation, share buy-back, minority shareholders buy-out and intellectual property rights.

Supporting the development and execution of effective corporate strategy, she helps the business navigate complex legal and regulatory environments across AMEA and India. She also helps identify short and long-term opportunities and risks and partners in developing and delivering strategies and tactical plans to address issues, which preserve and increase business value. She represented the Company by engaging with the government and other stakeholders to influence policy decisions.

Sree holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Mumbai and has a broad business and legal experience across several verticals including food, pharmaceutical and fast-moving consumer goods industries. Prior to Mondelez, she worked with GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Limited as Vice President, Legal & Corporate Affairs.
