Ruchi’s core portfolio includes Real Estate-Project Finance, General Corporate, Corporate and Commercial Litigation including Arbitration and Dispute Resolution. She has acquired her basic law degree from India and moved on to be an England and Wales qualified solicitor (BLS LLB, Solicitor England & Wales). Her career commenced in India and England simultaneously. But, at the beginning of her career, practicing with a London-based law firm wherein she had remarkable opportunity to taste the flavour of international legal practice. On her return, she was approached by one of the IPL teams to represent itself in the Hon’ble English High Court which was a new feather in her cap of experiences. This notable experience gave her much the exposure of interacting with international legal luminaries and shaped her career in the world of law. She has been a big advocate of change and bringing in technologies such as AI into legal profession in India and is considered a catalyst of change.

Ruchi starterd her career with Little & Co. ever since she was studying in law school. After a brief stint with a London-based law firm, on her return to India, she forayed into the entertainment world (was deputed to work with Star TV through her law firm) and played pivotal role in launching Star CJ. Ruchi has been awarded–as the Rising Star under-40 Award at New Delhi, by Legal Era. In 2019, she was felicitated by an international car brand Audi celebrating her success over societal hurdles in 2020 and recently she was awarded as one of the top 100 Iconic Women by Foxclues India Prime. She has also been nominated and awarded as Young Achiever in Legal Fraternity by Outlook Business Magazine for “Movers & Shakers of Indian Business” in April 2022. She has appeared on cover pages of 4 Indian Magazines, in Economic Times Panache and Outlook Business Magazine, both for International Women’s Day 2022 and has been captured as inspiring leader by 2 international magazines. Ruchi has also been nominated and awarded as “Powerful Women Leader under 50” in May 2022 by Fox Story India and appears on the magazine’s cover page as well.

Ruchi is a huge advocate of women empowerment and their rights. She is a firm believer in inspiring young girls to set and achieve higher life goals. She believes that education and knowledge will play crucial roles in making women financially independent which gives them the strongest backbone.
