Neeraj Kishan Kaul is practicing as a Senior Advocate, primarily at the Supreme Court of India. Previously he served as the Additional Solicitor General of India, at the Supreme Court of India and designated as a Senior Advocate by the Delhi High Court at the age of 38 years.
He was appointed Counsel for the Lok Sabha Secretariat in 1994 and appointed as Senior Panel Counsel for Delhi University in August, 2001, Senior Counsel for the Delhi High Court in May, 2001, by the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Delhi High Court to appear in cases on behalf of the Delhi High Court. He is also appointed as Senior Panel Counsel for Central Government in May, 2001 and as Senior Counsel for Lok Sabha Secretariat in February 2002and Standing Counsel for the Central Government in Delhi High Court in 1998.
Mr. Kaul also previously assisted courts as Amicus Curiaein a number of matters and also enrolled as a Lawyer / Advocate and called to the Bar.
He is graduated in B.A. (Art) from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi with merit ranking in the University and also graduated in law (LL.B.) from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi with merit ranking in the University. He has also completed his Masters (LL.M.) from University of Cambridge (U.K.)
He is regularly briefed in commercial matters pertaining to arbitration, company law, contractual disputes, corporate insolvency law etc., intellectual property law matters and matters of constitutional law importance in the Supreme Court of India and High Courts across the Nation.
Mr Kaul was covered in several publications and invited as guest speaker in many seminars and panel discussions including a talk at the Harvard Law School in 2015.
