Mohan T M has been a university gold medalist while pursuing his pre-degree curriculum from the Commerce Group. He is a graduate in B.Com from Christ College, Irinjalakuda. Post which he pursued his LL.B from Government Law College Ernakulam. In addition to this, he stands qualified as C.S (Intermediate) of ICSI. Over and above, he has also passed the CAIIB exam conducted by Indian Institute of Banking and Finance.

Sir Mohan TM has not only limited himself in being a scholar, he has had the first-hand experience of being at the coal face while working at Income Tax Appellate Tribunal. Before joining South Indian Bank, he had been working with M/s Apollo Tyres.

Sir Mohan T M joined The South Indian Bank as a Probationary Legal Officer back in the year 1995 and his consistent and par excellence contribution made him scale heights within the organisation. He climbed the ladder and got promoted to Legal Manager in 2002, Sr. Manager (Legal) in 2006, Chief Manager (Legal) in 2009, Assistant General Manager(Legal) in 2011, Deputy General Manger (Legal) in 2014 and finally Joint General Manager (Legal) in 2019. He has been very efficiently heading Legal Department since 2012.
