Karan Singh Chandhiok heads the dispute resolution and competition law practice at Chandhiok & Mahajan Advocates & Solicitors. He represents clients before various courts, arbitral tribunals, and regulators in India. He has extensive experience in advising airlines and lessors on contentious and non-contentious matters, and on the financing and regulatory aspects of aviation in India.
Mr Chandhiok has acted for various corporations in information technology, information technology enabled services, banking and finance, glass, steel, cement, tyres, automotive components, liquor, aviation, telecommunications, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, retail, transport, infrastructure and media. He is admitted as an Advocate in India and as a Solicitor in England & Wales. He is a non-governmental adviser to the International Competition Network (ICN); co-chair of the ASSOCHAM National Council on Competition Law; chair of the Indian National Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Division; and treasurer of the Competition Law Bar Association.
Mr Chandhiok read for the Bachelor of Civil Law degree at the University of Oxford.
