Dushyant Dave is a Senior Lawyer practicing in the Supreme Court of India and the High Courts across the country. He joined the Bar in 1978 and practiced in the Gujarat High Court till 1986 and then moved to Delhi. His practice over a span of more than four decades involves various branches of law including Civil Laws, Criminal laws and Corporate laws. He has appeared in large number of matters involving Constitutional and Public Law issues as also issues including Fundamental Rights and Civil Liberties of citizens. He has defended many citizens and their causes pro Bono.
Mr. Dave has had vast experience as a lawyer in various fields over this period and has acquired good will and reputation across the country.
He actively participates in the field of International Commercial Arbitration and has been on Governing Board of International Congress and Convention Association (“ICCA”) and American Arbitration Association(“AAA”) and London Court of International Arbitration (“LCIA”). He has attended International Arbitration Conferences across the globe and presented papers and delivered talks on the subject especially in context of Indian Arbitration scenario.
Mr. Dave regularly contributes to leading newspapers in Op-ed sections on major public issues and regularly appears on TV debated on such issues.
He has served as a Member of National Legal Services Authority from 2004-2008 and also thrice as President of Supreme Court Bar Association.
He always supports people in natural calamities like floods, earthquakes and in pandemic (COVID-19) and works personally in affected areas and contribute generously towards these causes.
