Vertices, AZB and JSA act on Vineeta Singh's Sugar Cosmetics for fundraising
The company raised US$ 50 million in its Series D round
Sugar Cosmetics, a brand under Vellvette Lifestyle Private Limited, one of the fastest-growing premium beauty labels in the country, has raised millions of dollars in the Series D round. The company was founded by Vineeta Singh, also a judge on the popular TV Show Shark Tank India.
The round was led by the Asia fund of L Catterton, a global consumer-focused private equity firm with participation from existing investors including A91 Partners, Elevation Capital, and India Quotient.
Manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities across the United States, Germany, Italy, Korea, and India, the brand offers its bestselling products across various categories including lips, eyes, face and nails, to the global market.
Vertices Partners advised Sugar Cosmetics on the deal. The team was led by Associate Partner Vani Panicker and Senior Associate Anushree Pathak. The Founder & Managing Partner, Vinayak Burman and Founder Partner Archana Khosla Burman provided strategic inputs.
