S&R Associates Represents IRB Infrastructure Trust In ₹22.53 Billion Rights Issue
In a significant development, S&R Associates has represented IRB Infrastructure Trust in a INR 22.53 billion fast-track rights issue of 92 million units to eligible unitholders of the InvIT (Infrastructure Investment Trust), including IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited and affiliates of GIC.
IRB Infrastructure Trust, known for its ownership and operation of road assets, embarked on this rights issue to augment its operations and broaden its investment portfolio. The focus of the Trust's investments primarily centered on key toll roads, namely IRB Lalitpur Tollway, IRB Kota Tollway, and IRB Gwalior Tollway. These toll roads play a pivotal role in the transportation infrastructure of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, respectively.
The legal representation for this landmark transaction was spearheaded by partner Pratichi Mishra, leading a dedicated team at S&R Associates.
