S&R Associates Represented Broker In Sale Of 1.4M Equity Shares Of ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India
S&R Associates Represented Broker In Sale Of 1.4M Equity Shares Of ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India
S&R Associates represented the broker in a block deal involving 1.4 million equity shares of ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited (ZF CVCS India), valued at INR 21.9 billion, on the NSE. The transaction, representing a 7.5% stake in the automotive systems manufacturer, was executed by WABCO Asia, a promoter entity.
German auto components giant ZF Group orchestrated the sale to bolster liquidity and financial flexibility for future growth initiatives while retaining operational control over ZF CVCS India. This strategic divestment underscores ZF's commitment to capitalize on India's dynamic market opportunities and ensure sustained expansion in the commercial vehicle sector.
Since acquiring WABCO in 2020, ZF has actively engaged in enhancing its commercial vehicle control systems offerings, marking a pivotal step in its global growth strategy.
Led by Partner Sudip Mahapatra, S&R Associates' team, including associates Komal Parakh and Hitoishi Sarkar, provided comprehensive Legal Counsel to ensure the successful completion of the transaction.
