S&R Associates represented Retail Holdings (India) B.V. on Indian tax aspects of the INR 642.5 million sale of 22.34% shares of Singer India Limited, a listed manufacturer and marketer of sewing machines and home appliances, on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Retail Holdings (India) B.V is the promoter selling shareholder of Singer India Limited.

The S&R tax team was led by partner Sumit Bansal, and included associates Shivani Chhabra and Taranjeet Singh.
