SNG & Partners Advised Mundra Petrochem for INR 19,876 CRORES PVC Project
Mundra Petrochem Limited has availed project finance facility of INR 19,876 crores from State Bank of India for setting up greenfield polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant in Mundra, Gujarat with annual production capacity of 1 MMTPA.
SNG & Partners acted as the legal counsel to Mundra Petrochem Limited and provided legal advise on the transaction, including reviewing, negotiating and finalizing the transaction documents for availing the said project finance facility.
The SNG & Partners team was led by Anju Gandhi (Partner – Head of Banking & Finance) with able assistance from Rashmi Raveendran (Associate Partner), Hetal Sheth (Associate Partner), Prateek Mohnot (Senior Associate) and Avni Gupta (Senior Associate).
This transaction marks the Adani Group’s foray into the petrochemical sector and is expected to double the India’s capacity to manufacture the plastic polymer.
