Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas advised GMR Airports Limited in acquisition of 11% shareholding in GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited. The deal is valued at approximately USD 100 million and closed on 25 January 2024.
This deal marks GMR Group’s increased stake in Hyderabad airport from 63% to 74%. GMR Airports Limited’s acquisition represents 10.998% of share capital from MAHB (Mauritius) Private Limited and 0.002% of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited’s share capital from Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad.
