Pioneering Ventures Group elevates Yashasvini Kumar as the Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
Yashasvini Kumar has been named as the Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Pioneering Ventures Group. This is a global-level position, and she is the first woman in the company to hold this position. She will be based out of both Mumbai and Switzerland and will continue her duties as Co-CEO of Pioneering Ventures India.
An integral part of the PV India team since 2017, Ms. Kumar has been critical in ensuring a seamless corporate consolidation and restructuring of the PV group. Whilst she was the Chief Legal Officer for PV India, she was instrumental in building HR, Legal and compliance functions into robust self-sustainable units.
In her new role as Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, she will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, direction and assistance on various legal, regulatory, compliance and business matters across a geographic footprint of 3 continents and 8 countries thereby ensuring strategic growth and driving business excellence initiatives across the group.
Congratulating Ms. Kumar on her promotion, Ron Pal, Founder and Chairman of the PV Board said: "This promotion is a testament to Yasha's hard work and commitment. Taking over her new role as the Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Pioneering Ventures, Ms. Yashasvini Kumar remarked, "The group is at an inflection point, with tremendous potential for immediate growth. It is a great honor to be given the opportunity and I am committed towards ensuring efficiency and business excellence as we transform the food industry globally."
Ms. Kumar has graduated from NALSAR and has 11 years of professional experience. Before joining PV, she was a lawyer with Platinum Partners and the M&A team in Trilegal, two of India's leading law firms.
Peter Ackermann, PV's outgoing General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, will move to the role of Strategic Advisor.
