Nishith Desai Associates Acted For EKA Software Solutions And Its Shareholders
The deal was done by acquisition of the parent entity domiciled in Singapore
Nishith Desai Associates has represented EKA Software Solutions and its shareholders in the sale to Symphony Technology Group, a US-based private equity firm, providing software and software-enabled services.
EKA is a global provider of commodity management solutions with a presence in Switzerland, Canada, the US, UK, Australia, Singapore and India.
It deals in the commodities trade and risk management and supply chain solutions, delivering innovative schemes.
The deal was done by procuring the parent entity of the EKA Group structure, domiciled in Singapore.
Nishith Desai Associates acted as the lead counsel for EKA and its shareholders and advised on the legal and regulatory aspects, including negotiation and closing of the transaction.
The team comprised Vaibhav Parikh, Ayushi Pandey, Muqeet Drabu, Harman Khorana, Parina Muchhala and Anurag Shah.
While the compliance team included Chandrashekar K and Rakesh Krishnan, the tax team was led by Parul Jain and Arijit Ghosh, whereas Yogesh Nayak and Anirudh Arjun handled due diligence.
