Link Legal advised VPS Healthcare Group to sell its 350 bedded Multi-Specialty Hospital in Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana to Fortis Group
Link Legal is advising and assisting Medeor Hospital Limited and VPS Healthcare Group in its sale of 350 bedded Multi-Speciality Hospital in Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana to Fortis Group for an overall purchase consideration of INR 225 Crore.
VPS Healthcare Group is a multinational healthcare group headquartered at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Medeor Manesar Hospital is a multi-specialty hospital having a potential bed capacity of 350 beds.
Fortis Group is an Indian multinational chain of private hospitals headquartered in India.
The acquisition will enable Fortis Group to deliver services to patients in the upcoming areas of New Gurgaon, Dwarka Expressway and IMT Manesar This acquisition will make Fortis Group the second largest healthcare services provider in Gurugram with over 850 beds, including their ongoing brownfield bed additions in FMRI.
Link Legal, led by its corporate partner Ketan Mukhija, associate partner Vinu Peter Immanuel, principal associate Amit Bhatnotra and associate Shorya Singhal are assisting Medeor Hospital Limited and VPS Healthcare Group from the preliminary stage and until the closing of the transaction.
The scope of work involves assisting and advising on the legal due diligence, drafting, review, negotiation and finalisation of definitive agreements, highlighting the risks and advising on effective solutions to mitigate such risks in the transaction, and providing general advisory and assistance throughout the transaction.
