Law firms act on Apollo hospitals acquisition of the stake
The primary and secondary investment deal is worth Rs.100 crores
Law firms Antares Legal, Altum Law and IC Universal Legal have acted on Apollo Hospital's acquisition of the stake in Asclepius Hospitals & Health Care. The acquisition took place through primary and secondary investment at a deal value of approximately Rs.100 crores.
Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited through its subsidiary Assam Hospitals Limited acquired 64.42 per cent of the equity share capital of Asclepius Hospitals.
Antares Legal and Altum Law acted for Asclepius Hospitals and its promoters on this transaction. While the Antares team was led by partner Arjun Anand and assisted by associates Hardik Harjani and Varun Bhargava, senior partner Anindita Phukan represented the Altum team.
IC Universal Legal represented Apollo Hospitals and its subsidiary Assam Hospitals Limited and partner Kavitha Vijay represented the team.
The Indian hospital chain said that the transaction would further consolidate the leadership position of Apollo Hospitals Group in the healthcare space.
