Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan Advised Niine Private Limited to Raise Funds from Angel Investors
Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan Attorneys (LKS) acted as legal advisors to Niine Private Limited for raising funds from angel investors, by way of issuing compulsory convertible preference shares of the company for expanding its business across India.
Niine Private Limited is a company focused on women's hygiene and menstrual health. They provide innovative, eco-friendly sanitary products and promote menstrual awareness through education and advocacy.
The team assisted and advised Niine Private Limited on the legal, regulatory, and direct tax facets of the transaction. This included activities like conducting legal due diligence of the company, preparing deal documentation such as share subscription agreement and shareholder’s agreement, conducting negotiations with the investors, and closure of the transaction.
