Khaitan & Co Advised Tata Capital on Maiden issuance of US denominated bonds
Khaitan & Co advised Tata Capital Limited (Issuer), as sole domestic counsel and listing agent in connection with the maiden issuance of USD 400 million 5.389 per cent senior unsecured notes due 2028 by the Issuer (Notes), under USD 2 billion Medium Term Note Programme. BNP Paribas, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, and MUFG acted as joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners, while J.P. Morgan acted as a joint bookrunner for this transaction.
The Notes are to be listed on the Global Securities Market of India International Exchange IFSC Limited. This is the first investment grade rated issuance from a Tata group company. The Issuer has achieved the tightest pricing by any Indian NBFC issuer in the international bond market.
