Khaitan & Co. advised Nahar Colours and Coating’s Promoters
Khaitan & Co. advised & acted as legal counsel for the promoters of Nahar Colours and Coating Private Limitedin their sale of a 75% stake to Pigments Spain S.L., part of the Altadia Group, through a share purchase and subscription agreement. This strategic investment marks a significant step for both parties in strengthening their market position.
The deal, which enhances Pigments Spain’s presence in the Indian and Asia-Pacific markets, will provide Nahar Colours and Coating with the resources to further expand its operations in the ceramics manufacturing sector. The acquisition is part of Altadia Group's broader strategy to increase its footprint in the region.
The Khaitan & Co. team leading the transaction was headed by Sameer Sah, Sweta Rao, and Yash Bhagwat, with valuable support from Adheesh Nargolkar (Intellectual Property), as well as Anshuman Mozumdar and Vineet Shingal (Corporate).
