Khaitan & Co Advised Book Running Lead Managers In Emcure Pharmaceuticals' IPO
Khaitan & Co provided advisory services to the Book Running Lead Managers (BRLMs) including Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Axis Capital Ltd., Jefferies India Private Limited, and J.P. Morgan India, for the Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited IPO.
The IPO saw Emcure Pharma's stock listing on the National Stock Exchange at Rs 1,325.05, marking a premium of 31.4% over the issue price.
Emcure Pharma raised a total of Rs 1,952.03 crores through a mix of fresh issue and offer for sale. This included Rs 800 crores from the sale of 7.9 million shares by Emcure Pharma, and Rs 1,152.03 crores from the sale of 11.4 million shares by promoters and other selling shareholders.
The IPO, with a price band of Rs 960 to Rs 1008 per equity share, garnered significant interest, oversubscribing overall by 68.50 times, with the Qualified Institutional Buyer (QIB) segment oversubscribed by 190.88 times.
The bidding for subscription commenced on July 03 and concluded on July 05, with share allotments finalized on July 08.
The Khaitan & Co deal team comprised Partner Chirayu Chandani, Partner Aditya George Cheriyan, Senior Associate Tishita Mukherjee, and Associates Hrithik Khurana, Kaushlendra Singh Palawat, and Shreya Iyer.
